A group of students at DCS found a butterfly with an injured wing. They carefully carried the butterfly to the flower garden in hopes that it would recover and fly away.
After the call to “Line Up” DCS students gather to say the Pledge of Allegiance. It is one of the special ways we build our school community.

DCS students have been busy! Kindergarten students picked up acorns, 1st and 2nd graders helped with brush clean up, and 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have swept sand off the play areas and moved a garden bed,
DCS held it’s first Whole School ! Each classroom was introduced and we played “Mirror Me, Mirror You” while physically distanced. We also talked about how proud we were of our students writing to local Veterans in honor of Veteran’s Day.
