My wife and I make our home in Keene, NH. My wife works as a community nutrition educator for UNH/NH, and serves on the local school board. I have a son who works locally, when not playing music with his father. I also have a red-haired daughter in 9th grade. They keep me very busy when I’m not at work. I serve on the Board of Trustees at the Keene Unitarian Universalist Church, and try to keep the ancient tradition of Morris dance alive by performing with Jack in the Green. I enjoy contra and English dancing when my wife and I can find time. I’m also an amateur carpenter, as my home is in constant renovation.
In addition to a number of experiences that often present themselves to the life of a musician, I’ve also had some formal education, as follows:
Associate in Arts – Audio Engineering F.L.C.C. – Canandaigua, NY – 1982
Bachelor of Music – Composition, Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY – 1987
Masters in Business Administration – S.U.N.Y. Binghamton – 1989
Music Certification – Keene State College, Keene, NY 1999
I’ve continued my music studies at the University of Baltimore, and at the Hartt School of Music. I also take advantage of the variety of musical performance opportunities that enrich our corner or New Hampshire–from the Raylynmore Opera to singing sea shanties in the local venues.
