DCS students enjoyed a morning filled with many different activities that brought their study of Egyptian Culture to life! Making paper, jewelry, instruments, and pyramids! Students loved the photo booth to capture the eye makeup. A fun day for sure!
As part of the school wide study of Egyptian Culture, students designed sarcophagi to house their miniature mummies. With the support of Jeannie Connolly, students decorated the cover of a sarcophagus and used glyphs on the back to depict their name. These were assembled as a resting place for mini mummies.
